Subject: AM 2.0 suggestion

            Hello everyone!

I've been a Mulch user for about two years now, but this is my first
time posting on the discussion board... and what a time to be
starting, with all this AM 2.0 talk! =)

I only have 2 two suggestions to throw into the fray, for now.

1. The option to have Mulch choose a random contraption preset number
in the automation window. Sometimes when I am using the drum
contraption, I want to create less static drum patterns without
necessarily having to automate the Preset Number parameter in each
case, or having to resort to something like Dblue Glitch or LiveCut
VST. I might just want the drum contraption to choose from a handful
of subtly different sample patterns at its own leisure. It could just
be a letter 'R' that you can select on the automation point, and it'd
save me the work of having to plot out elaborate automation =)

2. This is a bit of a workflow suggestion, based on my own preferences
- I think it would be great to have the option to anchor the camera in
the patcher window, and move it around at will. This would be useful
for some of my more enormous Mulch patches, where I might have groups
of contraptions organised into clusters all around the patch window,
based on the role they perform in a composition. If anyone here is
into game development, I am talking about something like the camera
movement in the Kismet graphical programming environment in Unreal
Editor 3.0.

There, single-clicking on a blank space of screen anchors the camera,
and whichever way you move the mouse, the camera pans in the opposite
direction. It's quite intuitive once you are used to it, and allows
you quickly access areas of the patch without having to maximise or
expand the patch window. Perhaps there are other software environments
that employ a similar mode of camera operation...

Of course, in Mulch, such a function could not be performed by
left-clicking, right-clicking, or even left + right clicking at the
same time... Perhaps ctrl + clicking? I don't know... But it would
make my Mulching a little faster =)

Cheers,

Tim
