Subject: MacCsound feature requests
Would it be possible (this might be a big update for version 2 or
something) to have the option of a split window for the orchestra and
score below it (both resizable), or maybe even split multiple views of
the orchestra or score (make it very customizable)?

I'm not sure if this is a csound thing or a MacCsound thing, but also
errors in the score do not report what line the error falls on- For
example a macro error. I'm working on something right now and I get the
error "Macro expansion symbol ($) without macro name" but no line
number! if this could be added in, it would be an invaluable addition
to the text output.

I'm working on integrating MacCsound with Logic right now, I have it
completely working 100% except for one feature request that I think is
needed.. You need to be able to configure the MIDI devices used for
input. Ideally we want it so MacCsound is JUST receiving MIDI from
Logic in the internal MacCsound port. However how it is now, when you
record a MIDI sequence in Logic going to MacCsound - Logic sends this
MIDI data to MacCsound and it plays - but MacCsound is also receiving
and playing the same MIDI data so essentially it plays twice. It would
be great to disable input from my MIDI keyboard in MacCsound so it only
plays the thru from Logic. I am pretty sure this can be done in Logic,
to disable thru on that channel however it would be great to configure
this in MacCsound as well.

A bug I discovered a couple weeks ago but forgot to report is I was
messing around w/ the colors of a .csd and inherently made it
unrenderable. MacCsound would completely crash when I would try and
render or play realtime, or anything. By exporting to a .orc and .sco
and then reopening, it fixed the problem.

Also I think there might be a bug where sometimes when I run in
realtime (when my cpu is at 1%) - when I stop playing or it stops, my
CPU usage stays at 80-100% CPU.. quitting Csound, it goes back down to
idling. Has anybody else noticed this?

Thanks
