In its Linux version Cs5's realtime audio and MIDI I/O is excellent,
and it plays nice with everything I've connected to it. I haven't
explored multichannel audio I/O, I have the gear but not enough time.
Linux and OSX users can make use of the JACK audio server for more
complex audio routing, I'll get around to some tests asap. Cs5's MIDI
I/O is very good, but I'd love to see it become a true ALSA sequencer
client with support for multiport MIDI I/O.
Alas, my hardware isn't up to any heavy DSP so my audio tests are
limited to what can be done with an 800 MHz machine, an M-Audio Delta
66, and an SBLive.
