Okay. Got gbs.7 (what does 'gbs' stand for?)...
Made the changes to configure.ac...
Ran ./configure --disable-windows --disable-rtaudio --with-x=no
--without-fltk
Output looked promising...

Do these errors ring a bell? I looked through the Makefiles on the
lines listed, but didn't see anything that I could understand to change
to resolve the problems.
