You're right, they do mention the Olympia. Where
you there yourself? I had the privilege of attending a solo Fripp concert
back in 1995 in Quebec city. What a charming experience that was. I could tell
many people in the crowd expected an actual band or even expected to hear King
Crimson material. But I knew what this was all about. Walking in 30 minutes
before show time (as recommended by other fans on ET forum) I found
his unique setup in the middle of an empty stage, two Les Paul,
an array of pedals, the GR-1 (guitar synth) and a rack mount with about 3-4
Eventide effect processors. The 'show' had already started, with some guitar
loops floating in and out, Mr. Fripp walked in quietly as usual and charmed us
with his sounds. I'll never forget that evening.

The
liner notes do say that "Wind on Water is "Recorded live at The Olympia, Paris
and at Olympic Studios, London...
"Air
Structures" is the recording of their 1975.05.28 show at l'Olympia,
Paris...
... and
what a great show it was!!!!!
