Fwd: (amb) What other music do you listen to?
I'm pretty open minded about music, but I like to stick to stuff that falls under the rock/metal umbrella usually. In metal I really stay with the underground/obscure stuff, because the mainstream metal stuff is AWFUL. It's like a joke. That being said, I don't avoid metalcore/hardcore like a lot of other "metalheads". With rock I like a lot of obscure stuff, but I won't avoid mainstream stuff if it's good. I love Coheed and Cambria, for example. Muse are good too.
Within rock and metal there is a ton of stuff, I'm kind of amazed at how diverse it is (that is if you're going to use the broadest definitions of the terms). Also, I've been checking out electronic music lately. That is a big genre.
