My taste ranges pretty far. Jazz, rock, country, world, contemporary
classical...It gets pretty difficult to keep up with all the great new =
stuff
and old over looked gems, I feel like I only get to scratch the surface =
of
each sometimes. There's a small stack of discs here at my computer
containing:
Marvin Gaye, Super Furry Animals, Radiohead, Habib Koite, Tom Waits, =
Cold
War Kids, Bat For Lashes, Stereolab, Wilco, Bill Frisell, Gomez and
Funkadelic.
What I don't like so much (but will still give a try on recommendation) =
is
contemporary RnB, most Rap, top 40 anything be it pop or New Nashville
country which is just pop music with a bedazzler.

I do listen to:
1) Industrial / EBM
2) Synthpop - both modern and 80s releases
3) Shoegaze / ethereal
4) goth / darkwave
5) I can handle some prog rock
I do not like or listen to:
Rap / Hip Hop, hippie rock, classic rock, classical, rap, country, =
salsa,
pretty much any "radio friendly" music is annoying to me. There are a =
few
exceptions - I can handle U2, Coldplay, REM.
