Electronic Music mailing list archives

Although ambient is my preferred genre, I write
reviews of music so I get to hear a ton of stuff. I
gravitate towards art rock and anything weird or off
the beaten path. I like singers with a unique voice,
whether male or female, and I can dig a spectrum of
styles from prog to Americana. When driving, I tend to
listen to quirky indie rock, ambient or favorite
singer/songwriters. At home, it's ambient, electronica
and whatever weird thing I'm in the mood for. What you
WON'T find me listening to is hip hop, metal (although
I can appreciate some hard rock) and commercial
country. I'm just not interested, and I have plenty of
the stuff I like to keep me interested.
