(amb) Colourform - Visions of Surya on Virtual
Haven't heard anyone's take on the new disc on Virtual (ISHQ/Ishvara/etc.) label. But I received this
info. sheet from them which included a link to an mp3 demo collage from the album :
' Visions of Surya ' is the 3rd release
on Virtual , a record label releasing
limited edition
immersive ambient music and works of Ishq
.This release was Co-written by Jake Stephenson
and Matt Hillier from Ishq under the guise of Colourform , a project
they had been working on
since 2002 .
The album has a magical eastern quality
to it and was written as a series of pipe dreams
experienced by someone travelling in a
strange exotic land . Exotic and otherworldy the album is a musical magic
carpet ride.
Sadly Jake Stephenson moved into the
invisible world himself sometime ago so we dedicate
the album to Jake and in memory of his
colourful imagination and spirit.
